The Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting (OFTB) gives permits. These permits are for red carpet, film, TV and theatre events. The events must be on public property. This includes City streets, sidewalks or parks.

You need an Original Certificate of Insurance. It must meet the Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting (OFTB) requirements.

List of permit fees:
- X-Small Venue (seating less than 500) Fee: $450
- Small Venue (seating 501 to 1,000) Fee: $2,750
- Medium Venue (seating 1,001 to 1,500) Fee: $5,000
- Large Venue (seating 1,501 to 5,000) Fee: $14,000
- X-Large Venue (seating more than 5,000) Fee: $24,000

- Certified check (pay to the Department of Finance. Hand in to OFTB when you get the permit)
- Money order (pay to the Department of Finance. Hand in to OFTB when you get the permit)
All fees include permission for the following:

Set up one red carpet

Set up one press pen

Use one generator

Use one Klieg light

Set up one tent (10 feet by 20 feet)
Any extra items will cost more.
